The textbook reflects the current state of domestic science about elastomers and the technology for their production, as well as possible ways to modernize the processes of synthesis of elastomers. The main attention is paid to technological techniques based on scientific ideas about the chemistry of the processes occurring in the synthesis of general and special purpose rubbers.
