Canadian science fiction writer Samantha August is abducted by a UFO in broad daylight. Waking up, she finds herself aboard an alien base starship. Artificial intelligence, a representative of three highly developed civilizations, begins to communicate with her, and offers to become a mediator at First Contact. The triumvirate sees the shortcomings of humanity - violence and destruction of ecosystems - and raised the question of the possible suppression of human activities on Earth. Intervention begins.
