The history of Greenland is complex, beginning, as far as man is concerned, about 5000 years ago. Strangely enough it has not been told in full, probably because of its complexity. Greenland has been and is still a field for scientific research and investigation. Practically all the sciences have for years worked to clarify the problems they meet in Greenland.
