The handbook describes the methods of organizing work on collection, disposal, neutralization and recycling of waste, characteristics of the machines and mechanisms used for transportation of solid waste and cleaning of urban areas are given, data are given on the standards for the accumulation of urban waste and the methodology for their determination, the main provisions of the organization of current and preventive supervision over the cleaning of cities and towns were considered, examples of calculation of vehicles and material and technical resources for complex mechanized removal of household waste and cleaning of streets and squares are given.
