The textbook contains materials for a special course on ancient philosophical anthropology in the part that concerns the attitude of man to the world of gods and giving him the status of a divine being. A significant place in its content is given to the presentation of the final phase of the deification of man in antiquity - the consideration of the deification of living people, mainly in the person of the ruling monarchs, namely, the description of the history of the cult of Roman emperors.
