The novel of the Bashkir writer Akhnyaf Bayramov is dedicated to the heroic work of the working class in the rear during the Great Patriotic War. The main character of the book, Saryan Mirkhalitov, goes a hard way from a worker to a major production manager. Severe wound at the front, bitter, unforgettable love for Minsyl, loss of relatives and friends... many trials fall to Saryan. However, it comes out of them not broken, but morally cleansed.
