The textbook discusses the theory and describes geodetic methods, modern instruments and tools used in geodetic work. The methodology of geodetic measurements is described, the issues of creating a survey substantiation and the production of topographic surveys using traditional and automated methods are considered. Information from geodetic measurement error theory is presented.
