In this book, Mikhail Tal sought to convey subjective experiences, thoughts, unrest and disappointment of a direct participant in this martial arts. Each game is preceded by a small introduction, which tells about the mood before the game, or small lyrical digressions are given - the author shares the thoughts that pursued him during the match. Tal in an expanded form tries to reveal to the reader the process of dialectical development of a chess game, starting from the opening. The reader will find at the end of the book a small illustrative material: individual games most characteristic of a particular system encountered in the match. The above games were considered by Tal in preparation for the match, so to speak, lay on his desktop.
