The purpose of the study is to analyze the factors of the formation of the settlement structure of the Kiryazhsky churchyard and the stages of its development in changing political and economic conditions in the chronological framework from the XIV century. to the Nishtadt Peace Treaty of 1721, that is, as part of the Novgorod state, the Russian centralized state, Sweden and during the return of the territory to the Russian state.
