Lake Baikal is widely known not only in our country, but also abroad. The proposed book aims to enable a wide range of people to get acquainted with Lake Baikal on the basis of modern knowledge. Along the way, outlining the characteristics of the lake, the book highlights the basic concepts and explains the special terms of modern lake science - limnology.
