After the Polish-Soviet war of 1919-1920, the western part of the Belarusian lands under the Riga Treaty of 1921 was included in Poland, where Belarusians found themselves under heavy national and social oppression. The struggle of Western Belarus for freedom and justice, the hero of the West Belarusian national liberation movement Sergei Osipovich Pritytsky and his feat are described in this book.
