The tutorial discusses the principles of information computing systems, starting with the basic logical functions and elements, logical circuits, and the principles of their minimization. Information on logic circuits of functional directivity - decoders and multiplexers - and principles of their cascade connection is described. Memory circuitry from the simplest flip-flop circuitry to register, register memory, to semiconductor ESI and VLSI memory circuitry are discussed separately. In addition, counting schemes are shown: counters and adders.
