Theory of generalized functions - the field of functional analysis that has taken shape in recent years; it arose in connection with the needs of mathematical physics and made it possible to correctly set and solve a number of classical problems of applied significance. This issue deals mainly with the basic concepts of the theory of generalized functions, actions on generalized functions, etc. The first two chapters provide an elementary introduction to this theory. The third chapter is somewhat more difficult to read and contains more special material.
