The proposed manual is designed for students of editorial faculties of printing institutes and journalism faculties of state universities, for editors of scientific and scientific and technical publishing houses and editorial offices, as well as scientific and technical information bodies. It can be used by students of the faculty of advanced training of editors of MPI and UPI named after Ivan Fedorov and students of the Institute of Journalistic Excellence of the Union of Journalists of the USSR.
