The purpose of this dissertation research is to consider the policy of the PRC in the strategically important geopolitical space of Central Asia, Caucasus and Northern Caspian from the end of the twentieth century to the present, its evolution, main tasks, identification of specifics applied in each of these regions, tactics and strategies, similar features and differences, factors influencing the choice of one or another approach, as well as the goals of countries and subjects of the above regions in developing relations with China.
