The work is devoted to the peculiarities of traditional medicine suvarsavir in the Caucasus, shows that the basis for our knowledge of the medicine of the Caucasus are genuine texts of ancient medical manuals, as well as collections of prescriptions and random references, laws, testimonies of ancient historians - these are knowledge and acquired skills acquired during their residence in Mesopotamia as part of the Sumerian-Akkadian civilization. The wealth of baggage of medical knowledge was supplemented by the study of the flora and fauna of the Caucasus, where, due to the relatively stable climate in the past, ancient elements of flora, relict and endemic plants, for example, rhododendrons, boxwood, laurel, persimmon, etc. were preserved. The development of medical knowledge showed that centuries of experience and knowledge in cuneiform writing with Mesopotamian medical texts, which were freely translated into other languages ​ ​ of the peoples of the Caucasus, especially in Albania (this is the modern territory of Azerbaijan, where Suvarysavirs lived compactly, preserving their culture and traditions of healing) had a huge impact on the formation of scientific medical knowledge.
