The publication of the book is associated with the approaching centenary of the Great Russian Revolution. In the center of the story are the circumstances of the concealment on the territory of the Khanty-Mansiysk and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Districts of the values ​ ​ of the Siberian White Movement, exported from Tobolsk along the Tobol, Irtysh and Ob rivers in September 1919. These values ​ ​ and relics have not been found to date. Their search was undertaken by the state security agencies of the Soviet Union in the 20-30s. The documentary investigation is based on previously classified documents transferred in September 1991 by decree of President B.N. Yeltsin from the archives of the territorial state security agencies of Tyumen, Yekaterinburg and Syktyvkar for state storage.
