The book examines early medieval gilded helmets - the comandir affiliation of the military elite of Russia, Poland, Prussia, Hungary and regions from the east and south adjacent to the Old Russian state. Judgments were made about the origin, distribution, chronology and combat use of spheroconic heads, their production centers were outlined.
