The textbook is devoted to a systematic presentation of the organization of the structure and functioning of computers and systems, while much attention is paid to the effectiveness of traditional and promising solutions in the field of computer technology. The structure and functioning of classical von Neumann machines, the principles of organizing buses, internal and external memory, operating and control devices, and input-output systems are considered.
