A huge archive of documents of an administrative, diplomatic, legal, mythological and dictionary nature, found in the royal palace of Ebla, dates back to the III millennium BC. - time that was previously considered unwritten for Syria. The problems associated with archeology, history and the previously unknown language of ancient Ebla are dealt with by specialists in the ancient East of various specialties in different countries of the world. This is due to the exceptional importance of the monuments of Ebla for the social and ethnic history of ancient Asia Minor.
