In a book dedicated to the 350th anniversary of the death of the great Flemish artist Peter Paul Rubens (1577-1640), for the first time in Soviet art history, the portrait work of the master was independently examined, an analysis of many of his works was given. The publication continues the work of the Honored Art Worker of the RSFSR, Doctor of Art History M. S. Lebedyansky on the study of portrait art, which he began in the book "Portraits of Raphael," reprinted twice already.
