Bashlyar G. - French philosopher, aesthetician, researcher of the psychology of artistic creativity. He was called "the last student of Leonardo da Vinci," referring to universal knowledge and his contribution to various spheres of culture: philosophy of science, epistemology, poetics of imagination, literary criticism. Bashlyar's epistemological views were formed largely under the influence of Bohr's "principle of complementarity," as well as the ideas of Brunswick and Gonset, who relied in their works on the latest achievements of modern natural science. The first volume includes two works, "Applied Rationalism" and "Rational Materialism."
