The book offered to the reader is a series of popular stories about various plant species common in the forest, forest-steppe and steppe botanical-geographical zones mainly in the European part of the USSR. Botanical characteristics of plants are omitted, some ancient recipes for the preparation and use of certain types of plants for medicinal and cosmetic purposes are not given.
