The book-photo album "Russia Northern Outpost" is an illustrated history of the formation of Sevmash Enterprise - the largest shipyard in modern Russia. The extremely successful location of the plant predetermined its fate. As four and a half centuries ago, the Nikolo-Korelsky Monastery - today the factory church - became the first seaport of the country, so during the Great Patriotic War the unfinished enterprise was the main port of Belomorye for receiving aid under Lend-Lease, and after the war - the cradle of the domestic nuclear fleet. This is a book and photo album «Russian North Outpost», an illustrated history of the largest Russian shipyard Sevmash. An exceptionally favourable location of the yard predetermined its destiny. Just as four and a half centuries ago the Nikolo-Korelsky Monastery, being currently the shipyard's temple, became the first sea port of Russia, so during the Great Patriotic war the yard still under construction became the main White sea port receiving the lend-lease cargoes, and after the war it turned into a cradle of Russian nuclear fleet.
