The tutorial covers the basics of descriptive geometry and engineering graphics in conjunction with modern 3D design and drawing technology. On the basis of examples of drawing and drawing sketches, drawings of parts and assembly units from real instrument-making products, general rules for making assembly drawings and drawings of electrical circuits, as well as the basics of machine graphics are considered. A modern approach to automated product design is presented, when design documentation is created on the basis of three-dimensional modeling of these products.
