The collection is the second part of the materials of the international scientific conference "Childhood History as a Subject of Research: The Legacy of F. Arjes in Europe and Russia," held at the Russian State Humanitarian University on October 1-2, 2009. This issue includes selected and revised reports made at meetings of sections dedicated to the history of childhood in pre-revolutionary Russia.
