The book includes prose works of the outstanding Soviet poet Boris Pasternak (1890-1960), created by the author at different times from 1915 to 1957. Stories, short stories, essays and articles by B. Pasternak were published in books, magazines, newspapers and almanacs, which have now become a bibliographic rarity. In addition to the well-known novels "Childhood Luvers" and "Letter of Protection," the collection presents stories, essays" as well as articles on art. The book opens with an introductory article by academician D. S. Likhachev. Comments on the works of B. Pasternak were compiled by S. S. Grechishkin and A. V. Lavrov.
