The book about the outstanding Russian artist, sung by A. S. Pushkin, was written using a wide range of new archival materials located both in our country and abroad. The work of the master is considered against the background and in close connection with the turning point historical events in the life of peoples, witnessed by O. A. Kiprensky and which were reflected in his creations and affected the life fate of the painter.
