The purpose of the dissertation research is to form a conceptualized idea of ​ ​ the settlement structure of the Kuban Cossacks in the late XVIII - early XX centuries. in the context of various forms of settlement arrangement in the historical region of the Kuban and on the basis of a retrospective of the historical everyday life of Cossack settlement structures.
