The book is devoted to the study of some problems of political relations between the Kypchaks and Khorezm in the late XI - early XIII centuries, the features of Kypchak-Khorezm relations as part of the cardinal problem of relations between the nomadic steppe and agricultural states in the East. The main stages of the ethnic history of the Kypchaks are traced, in particular, the origin and intra-ethnic composition are considered. The relationship of the Kypchaks with the neighboring peoples of Central Asia and Southeast Europe is considered.
