The next collection of the Center for Slavic-German Studies was compiled in the wake of the annual round tables "Ancient Russia and the German world in the historical and philological perspective" and a number of reports discussed at the Center's seminar. Initially, the seminar, like the round tables, was devoted mainly to the historical semantics of Germanic and Old Russian proper names.
