The book is devoted to the problem of prevention of dependence on psychoactive substances and parenteral infections of HIV and hepatitis C often accompanying this disease. The solution to this problem is impossible without understanding the psychological mechanisms and factors that determine and structure the behavior of patients with socially significant diseases. The book contains the results of a comprehensive psychological study of dependence on psychoactive substances conducted by the author at various stages of its formation.
