The book, in addition to articles, letters, notes by P.Ya. Chaadaev, included polemical responses to the works of Chaadaev, the largest thinkers in Russia: A.S. Pushkin, F.I. Tyutchev, N.V. Gogol and others. The richly illustrated edition is addressed to the general reader.
