Lomonosov is the most remarkable figure in pre-revolutionary Russian culture. People's virgin lands, somewhat stirred up by Peter's reforms, put forward at the beginning of the 18th century this brilliant man from his bowels, who variously and originally embodied the best features of the national Russian culture. Biography M.V. Lomonosov, written by A.A. Morozov, is based on a large new material revealed by historical studies of recent decades, until very recently. Some chapters of the book are based on independent works by A.A. Morozov.
