The book is dedicated to the life and work of B.V. Krusser is a major domestic specialist in the field of creating photoelectronic television devices. Under his leadership and with his direct participation, starting in 1934, prototypes and serial samples of all transmitting electric vacuum television tubes were created. In addition to research and experimental work, B.V. Krusser taught at the Leningrad Electrotechnical Institute. Several generations of engineers studied according to the capital work "Theoretical Foundations of Electrical Image Transmission," in the writing of which B.V. Krusser took an active part.
