The principles of adaptive spatial filtering of stochastic signals and methods of angular super-resolution in application to direction finding and estimation of the number of sources of stochastic signals, as well as the possibilities of digital implementation of corresponding algorithms based on the use of orthogonalization and orthogonal transformation methods are considered in a systematic form.
