Four books on architecture (Italian: I Quattro Libri dell'Architettura) - the work of Andrea Palladio, published in 1570, the largest set of knowledge and rules of classical architecture of the beginning of the New Age. The legacy of Palladio, processed by European masters of Palladian architecture of the XVII-XVIII centuries, underlies the architecture of classicism of the XVIII-XX centuries.
