For the first time in a comprehensive, logical sequence, the basic principles, methods and technology of regional planning for the development of tourism and hotel industry at the present stage are considered. Scientific and methodological recommendations are presented on the development of effective plans for the development of tourism as part of the socio-economic system of the region, taking into account the dynamically changing needs of tourists, as well as domestic and foreign experience in planning and managing the tourism sector.
