The monograph offers readers a large array of Albanian texts and words recorded in the 50s of the XX century in four Ukrainian villages where Albanians live. The materials quite fully characterize one of the stages of development of the Albanian language, functioning in an alien language environment. The texts cover a wide variety of topics, including everyday, folklore and ritual. The dictionary contains over 5,000 articles, including lexemes from many lexical-semantic groups; moreover, each word is given in context, which significantly expands the possibilities of its analysis. A short essay on selected grammatical topics complements the picture of the state of dialect.
