Basic semiconductor devices of modern microelectronics and physical processes that ensure their operation are considered. Static, frequency and pulse characteristics of devices are analyzed, methods of circuit modeling of devices are considered and their equivalent diagrams are given. Limit parameters of modern microelectronics devices (SOI MIS, HEMT, HBT) are considered. For each device, a brief overview of modern methods for their structural implementation in integrated circuits is made.
