The anthology is a collection of key theoretical texts on political geography published by Russian scientists in scientific journals and collections and which have not lost their relevance due to their generalizing nature, and can be considered as a reflection of the development of the national school in this direction at the present stage - in the first quarter of the XXI century. The works are grouped into sections reflecting the main sub-disciplines of political geography: theory and methodology of science, geopolitics, integrated regional studies, geographical state studies, metropolitan studies, limology, political regionalism, electoral geography, humanitarian geography.
