The textbook reflects the main milestones in the history of physical culture, as well as the concepts of theory and methods of physical education and sports. Separately considered the formation and development of the domestic system of physical culture. The work includes tables, diagrams, questions and tasks for self-control, allowing to generalize and systematize the educational material. The workshop is presented by a collection of practical works.
