Many Nazi organizations, figures, events and places associated with the history of the Third Reich are perceived today with a certain degree of mystery. This is the "Anenerbe," and the ominous Wewelsburg castle, and the ancient Exterstein, which attracts the attention of archaeologists. In fact, only two castle buildings had a ritual character for the SS: Quedlinburg Cathedral and Wevelsburg Castle.
