The first part of the book "The Formation of European Science" is devoted to the history of pan-European culture, and at moments that would seem to be the most distant from the direct phenomenon of science itself. According to the author, "all the misadventures of science began with the fact that it was separated from art, etching out everything personal from it".... The second part of the study is devoted to science itself.
