This book unites several battles of the Second World War, about which the domestic reader either knew nothing at all, or had ideas about them that were greatly distorted by propaganda. The operation at El Alamein in the fall of 1942, as well as the tank battle near Prokhorovka in July 1943, were often "heard," but a detailed analysis of these battles in Soviet-Russian military-historical literature was given in fragments. There were no works on the first steps to liberate Belarus at all. Therefore, a brief description of the above operations will become for researchers another important component of the history of the greatest confrontation of the 20th century.
