The work of the Ural historian I.F. Plotnikov "Alexander Vasilievich Kolchak" is the first monographic and at the same time archaeographic publication about an outstanding naval commander, polar traveler, scientist and politician of our Fatherland. The Civil War nominated A.V. Kolchak to the top of the anti-Bolshevik white movement. He became the Supreme Ruler of Russia and the Supreme Commander of the Land and Sea Forces, recognized by all other leaders of the white movement.
