The book is designed to determine the most common animals typical of fresh water bodies in central Russia. It contains descriptions of the appearance, ecology, images of more than 100 species of aquatic invertebrates: sponges, bryozoans, hydras, worms, mollusks, insects, their larvae, as well as amphibians and reptiles.
