The Sunset Lands are not the friendliest place for aliens from overseas, but they are full of wealth and opportunity. An officer of the church army who recently arrived here is trying to figure out the intricacy of local intrigues, his senior colleague is to reconcile with the past, and a half-blood noblewoman is to preserve life and freedom by getting involved in illegal activities.
