Experiments in poetry and prose - this is how Batyushkov called the book that summarized his thoughts and experiences. She was published in 1817 in St. Petersburg. Two small volumes; the first contains 15 prose articles, the second contains 65 poems, first brought together from various magazines and almanacs. These two volumes, published in a large circulation at that time (1200 copies), quickly spread among the reading public and brought popularity to the author. The first volume is a complete collection of the poetic and prosaic heritage of the Russian poet Konstantin Nikolayevich Batyushkov. The second volume of the collected works includes notebooks and letters of the author.
