The sixth edition (fifth - in 1983) reflects the use of new materials in industry (powder, amorphous, fine crystalline, composite, etc.). The main methods of research and testing of materials, as well as devices for performing these studies are considered. Laboratory work on the practical application of methods of research and testing of materials after various types of processing is described.
